1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Willow's Cove Salon. By accessing our website (willowscovesalon.com) or booking services with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and users of our website and services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Services & Pricing
2.1 Pricing
All services show a starting price and may increase based on hair length, texture, density, or additional services rendered. Final pricing will be confirmed by your stylist during your consultation or appointment. Prices do not include tax.
2.2 Convenience Fee
A 3.5% convenience fee is applied to all credit and debit card transactions. This fee is waived for guests paying with cash.
2.3 Deposits
All services over $300 require a booking deposit of 50% of the service price at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to rescheduled appointments if adequate notice is provided (see Cancellation Policy).
2.4 Payment Methods
We accept all major credit cards for services and products. Gratuity is accepted in cash only—tips cannot be added to credit card transactions. Payment is due in full at the time of service.
2.5 Extension Services
All hair extension services require a consultation prior to booking. A $50 consultation fee applies and will be credited toward your extension service if you choose to move forward. Not all stylists perform extension services. Extension consultations allow us to assess your hair, discuss your goals, and provide accurate pricing.
2.6 Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for select color brands, add-on services, or services that exceed the estimated time or complexity discussed during booking.
3. Appointments & Booking
3.1 Online Booking
Appointments can be booked online through our booking system powered by Phorest. By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms of Service and our salon policies.
3.2 Stylist Availability
We will always try to accommodate you with your preferred stylist. If your stylist is unable to work on the day of your appointment, we will contact you in advance and offer to reschedule or accommodate your appointment with a stylist of equal or greater experience level.
4. Cancellation & Late Arrival Policy
4.1 Cancellations & Rescheduling
We kindly ask that any changes or cancellations be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) or no-shows will be subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service price.
For services requiring a deposit, the deposit will be forfeited for late cancellations or no-shows.
4.2 Late Arrivals
Out of respect for our guests and stylists, clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their services modified or rescheduled at our discretion. We reserve the right to cancel or adjust services as needed to stay on time for all following appointments.
5. Service Adjustments & Refunds
5.1 Service Adjustments
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not completely happy with your service, please contact us within 7 days of your original appointment. We will gladly schedule a complimentary adjustment to address your concerns.
Service adjustment requests made after 7 days may be subject to additional charges.
5.2 Refunds
Due to the artistic and personalized nature of salon services, we do not offer refunds for services rendered. We are committed to making adjustments within 7 days to ensure your satisfaction. Refund requests are reviewed at management's discretion and issued accordingly.
5.3 Product Returns
Unopened products may be returned within 14 days of purchase with a receipt for a full refund or exchange. Opened products cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety reasons.
6. Health & Safety
For the health and safety of our team and guests, we ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell. Please inform your stylist of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may affect your service.
Chemical services (color, keratin, relaxers) may require a patch test for new clients or clients with known sensitivities.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements — is the property of Willow's Cove Salon or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.
7.1 Photography & Social Media
We may take photographs or videos during your appointment for use on our website, social media, or marketing materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform your stylist at the beginning of your appointment.
8. Website Use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use this website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website or interfere with any other party's use of the website.
We do not guarantee that our website will be available at all times or that the information on our website is complete, accurate, or current.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including our booking system (Phorest), social media platforms, and affiliate product links. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of these third-party websites.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Willow's Cove Salon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Willow's Cove Salon, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our website or services, or your violation of these Terms of Service.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Nassau County, New York.
